Just a side note--Many nuts (including almonds, pecans, and walnuts) have hypoglycemic effects. While this can be balanced out in a full meal (or a snack with additional protein, fats, and carbs), it makes nuts less-than-ideal for standalone snacks.

My husband and I both love the Power Meal! My husband is diabetic and he decided to start having the Power Meal as a meal replacement at lunch. He feels he has more energy and his blood sugar levels are lower now in the evening. I recently started having Power Meal in the morning and also sometimes in the evening. It really has helped us both feel better!
