Is Anxiety Relief Just a Waiting Game?

Is Anxiety Relief Just a Waiting Game?

by Jen Springer

You’ve tried drugs, relaxation techniques, and St. Johns Wort with zilcho anxiety relief.  You’ve succumbed to just … waiting for it to go away. Hopefully one day you’ll wake up and it will be gone, right? NOT!  That’s not the way it goes with anxiety. Even if it does seem to spontaneously go away, one day it will creep back in like an unannounced and unwelcome house guest.

Is it possible to get long term relief without having your head shrunk for countless months or pill popping?

Yes, but you must do the right things to get better.  I have anxiety come and go since I was a teen.  When I had my first panic attack at 15, I thought I was going to die but it was an isolated incident. In my early 20’s I had a few little bouts with anxiety, no big deal. Why would I pay attention, it was gone as fast as it had shown up?  Then, mid 20’s anxiety got my attention. I had my first full blown anxiety attack. WHAMMO!  I thought I lost my mind. I was under severe stress and pushed my body a little too far. This time I took the medication my doctor gave me. He knew what he was doing, right?

During my late 20’s  my mind was opened to using natural remedies like essential oils, herbs, and nutrition.  I was able to come off the medication my doctor gave me for anxiety. “Yeah, I was home free and all better!” Or, so I thought.

I spent the next 8 years building a large health and wellness business. My clients were all over the U.S., even abroad.  I was making big bucks, had a house in the country, and even a cool S.U.V.  I was invincible!  Then, WHAMMO!  Once again anxiety and panic attacks arrived in my life.  This time, I was in trouble.  They afflicted me 24/7 for months. I couldn’t work, leave the house, or drive my cool S.U.V. I thought I cracked and life was over.  I didn’t want to use drugs but all the natural voodoo I was so savvy with wasn’t working.

When we are in great fear and confusion, we freeze like a deer in head lights and WAIT for something to happen.

I was hoping one day I’d wake up and the mass insanity I was feeling would be gone.  This false illusion went on for months. How could the invincible “Jen” be sick? Did she loose it? Was she washed up?  These are questions an alpha personality asks him/herself.  Reality is, anxiety, depression, panic, and other fun stuff like that doesn’t discriminate.

You can be rich, poor, white, black, male, female, young, or old and be brought to you to your knees with paralyzing illness.

The question is, “are you going to lay there for dead or do something about it?”

That was it, after a few months the waiting game was over. This time the anxiety/panic wasn’t going to slip away like it did before. I feverishly searched for reasons as to why I became ill.  It was unacceptable for me to believe that I cracked one day and my life was now over as a sane person.  After much digging, answers were found.  Doctors do not mention the real causes of illness, especially those affecting the way we feel. Illnesses that have many of the root causes but show up in each individual differently. Some people may “lose their marbles”, others may have rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, or anger management issues.

The most amazing finding I had was that most of our collective un-wellness causes boil down to a few common threads.  For long term recovery it is critical to find the core imbalances in the body and correct them.

Finding a doctor that thinks out of the box is critical.  Having the will power and the commitment to yourself to get better is also critical.  Getting better is not a cake walk, but boy ‘o boy is it rewarding when you start to feel human again. Actually, better than human. Can you imagine feeling alive, awake, and being a full participant of life? It’s awesome!

Learn about the possible core imbalances in your body and determine if you are being affected by them.

So, how do you learn? There is so much info out there sprawled throughout the web and books, where’s the best place to start? RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!  My blog is full of information. I guarantee you won’t find as much information all in one place like on this site. I apologize, my ego popped in. But I know it’s true. When I was sick, I didn’t have anywhere to turn. I couldn’t find anyone to relate to who had gone through what I had that came through the other side “all better”.

With all the info out there, where’s the best place to start learning?

Once I figured out the core reasons why people lose their health, I wrote an ebook called “Let’s Get Physical: Anxiety is NOT All in Your Head” to address why you really aren’t crazy, your body just has some imbalances. (Learn if the ebook is for you, CLICK HERE NOW)
